Or call (844) 543-5757 nowA Washington-registered flooring installer measures your rooms, helps you choose between laminate and vinyl plank, and gives you an itemized quote before anything is ordered. Most rooms are finished in a day or two, with the old floor hauled away.
In-home measure and consultation. Bring your samples or borrow theirs; the quote is based on real measurements, not a guess from a photo.
Typical install for a living room, hall and bedrooms. Whole-house projects are scheduled in stages so you are never without a place to sit.
Materials, underlayment, removal, prep, trim and labor on one itemized quote. The price you approve is the price you pay unless you change the scope.
Quotes are prepared by the independent flooring contractor after measuring your home. Price ranges on this site are typical Seattle-area market ranges for planning; your quote depends on the product you choose, your subfloor and your layout.
Four floors that handle Puget Sound life
Wet boots, dogs, kids, a crawl space under the house and a tenant upstairs. These are the products installers put in Seattle homes most, and why.
LaminateWood-look laminate
The most floor for the money: realistic wood visuals, hard-wearing surfaces and water-resistant cores on current lines. Best for living areas, halls and bedrooms.
Luxury vinyl plankRigid-core vinyl plank
Fully waterproof planks that go anywhere, including kitchens, baths, basements and homes with big dogs. Quieter underfoot and forgiving of small subfloor flaws.
Dark & wideWide-plank, dark tones
Seven- to nine-inch planks in walnut and smoked-oak visuals suit Seattle's older houses and open-plan remodels. Available in both laminate and vinyl.
PatternedHerringbone and accents
Herringbone laminate and vinyl for entries and dining rooms, plus matching stair treads, nosings and transitions so the whole house reads as one floor.
Everything between the old floor and the new one
Flooring jobs go wrong in the parts you do not see: a subfloor that was never flattened, underlayment skipped to save an hour, a floor installed tight to the wall so it buckles in August. These are the services, and the care that goes into each.

Replacing floors under an insurance claim? This is routine here.
Burst pipes, dishwasher leaks and crawl space moisture ruin more Seattle floors than wear ever does. Once the structure is dry, the installer handles the flooring portion of your claim in the format your adjuster expects.
- Scope and quote written in Xactimate line items your carrier recognizes
- Matching discontinued flooring, or documenting why a full-room replacement is needed
- Moisture readings on the subfloor before install, so the new floor is not laid over a wet one
- Scheduling coordinated with your drying contractor and your adjuster

Call Me Right NowQuestions homeowners ask before they book
Is the in-home estimate really free?
Yes. The installer measures, checks the subfloor, helps you choose a product and sends an itemized written quote at no charge and with no obligation. You pay nothing until you approve the quote, and then a materials deposit, stated on the quote, is normal.
Laminate or vinyl plank: which should I pick?
For kitchens, bathrooms, basements, mudrooms and homes with large dogs, rigid-core vinyl plank, because it is waterproof. For living rooms, halls and bedrooms where you want the most realistic wood look and the hardest surface for the money, laminate. Many Seattle houses end up with both. The guide on laminate versus vinyl plank goes through it room by room, and the installer will tell you honestly which fits your house.
Can you install over my existing floor?
Sometimes. Floating floors can go over well-adhered vinyl, tile and some hardwood if the surface is flat and the added height works at doors and appliances. Carpet always comes out, as do loose or damaged floors. The installer checks at the measure and prices removal only where it is needed.
How long does installation take?
A living room and hall is usually one day; add bedrooms and it is two. Whole-house projects run three to five days and are scheduled in stages. Stairs add a day. Product acclimation adds about 48 hours before install begins.
Do you move furniture?
The installer moves standard furniture within the room as part of the quote and puts it back. Pianos, aquariums, safes, electronics and anything fragile should be moved by you or a mover beforehand; the quote says exactly what is included.
Who actually does the work?
An independent, Washington-registered flooring contractor serving your area. Seattle Flooring Installers is a service of Help Me Now Inc that takes your request, schedules the measure and makes sure you are taken care of. You get the installer's name and L&I number before they arrive, and your contract is with them.
